I'm not sure a lot of you know this, but Fort Drum built a complex in honor of Alexandria Bay Native Jack Sweet who lost his life in IRAQ at the young age of 19. I asked local photograper Ron Spooner to take a few pictures for everyone. Thank You Ron and R.I.P. Jack.. This village will always remember you..
Army Pfc. Jack T. Sweet
"19, of Alexandria Bay, N.Y.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.; died Feb. 8 2008 in Jawwalah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device."

I also had a chance today to locate the video footage from Jack's Welcome Home and also from the Day of Jack's Memorial Service and put it back online.. That video is below should anyone like to watch it. Also, if anyone would like to download a permanent copy of the video you can do so by joining Vimeo. Once your a member a download link will appear on the bottom right of these pages. http://vimeo.com/19844102 and http://vimeo.com/19843082
