On Monday February 28th Mr. John Lunney and Mr. Stephen Witham visited Mr. Gary Kocher's Junior and Senior High Technology classes and demonstrated the use of a wood lathe.  Both Mr. Lunney and Mr. Witham are members of the Thousand Islands Woodturners Club.  Mr. Lunney turned four different items for each class on the lathe.  He also had a display of projects that he made like wood bowls, salt and pepper shakers, bottle stoppers, and a wood cowboy hat.

The Thousand Islands Woodturner club meets the third Thursday of every month.  If interested call Mr. Lunney at 686-2319.
