Capt. Pat Snyder welcomes you to the St. Lawrence River and Alex Bay located in the beautiful 1000 Islands Region! Fish international waters while Capt. Snyder guides you to the river's "hottest" spots aboard "The Rough Islander", a 26' Chris Craft.
The boat has the capacity to carry up to six people, is partially covered to help you escape the elements if necessary, and is fully equipped for comfort and safety.
A third generation fishing guide, Capt. Snyder has operated his fishing charter for the past 20 years. He is licensed and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard and is a member of the Alexandria Bay Fishing Guides Association and the Alexandria Bay Chamber of Commerce. Capt. Snyder specializes in pike, bass, walleye and muskie fishing trips.

Located on the island are restaurants ,shopping ,playgrounds, 3 golf courses, movies and much more. It's a five minute ride to the Canadian border and the cottage is located right between Alexandria Bay and Clayton ,NY the "hot spots" of the 1000 islands. Our season runs from May 1st to the middle of November with off season rates available early and late--Rates depend on when and how long you intend to stay . We are now booking for the 2008 and 2009 seasons---Once you've been here, the RIVER will draw you back.

Family owned since 1970. Crestwood Cottages are located minutes from downtown Alexandria Bay. Directly in the center of Carnegie Bay. This setting has a million dollar view of the shipping channel. It is the prime location for fishing, boating, swimming, and relaxing! Each cottage has 2 bedrooms with double beds. They will sleep 4 adults comfortably. Other amenities include a fully equipped kitchenette w/gas stove, sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, & refrigerator. Inside each cottage is a private toilet and just a few feet away its own private shower room. Outside each cottage is a picnic table and charcoal grill. There is also a community fire pit and swing set for the little ones. Best of all, each cottage has a screened porch with a full view of the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Reservations available for May-September.
